SUBJECT: Keeper’s Cottage nestles in the woods on the north side of Zig Zag Road at the eastern end of the National Trust Box Hill estate. Only those who walk the bridleways and footpaths around Box Hill will get a chance to stumble across this cottage and the adjacent Woodman’s Cottage. The scene was captured in February 2009 when a prolonged period of snow fell over much of the British Isles.
